Prince's Trust Awards 2018
I’ve written before about how much the Prince’s Trust has done both for BearHugs and me personally. Getting to go out as a Prince’s Trust ambassador and talk about the work of the Trust is one of the things I am most proud to do.
Did you know that The Prince’s Trust also has an Online Store, selling products created by Prince’s Trust entrepreneurs? Find out more here....
Faye's Interview with Blogger Liv Purvis on whatoliviadid.com
Some of you might remember that last year I had the incredible honour of being a finalist at the Prince’s Trust Awards, where
This year, I was invited to attend the awards in London again. This time in my role as an ambassador for the Prince’s Trust - something I am incredibly proud to do. The awards were hosted again by Ant and Dec and included, alongside Prince Charles, Tom Hardy, Olivia Colman, Tom Jones and Bryan Cranston!
Prince's Trust Women in Business Get Together
A little while ago, BearHugs had the pleasure of hosting the Prince's Trust and amazing blogger, number-one podcaster and all-round lovely human Liv Purvis.
Liv has now written about and interviewed Chief Sender of Hugs Faye as part of her Girl Crush series. Topics include the Prince's Trust, the story behind BearHugs, dealing with challenging days, and Faye's own girl crushes!
Prince's Trust Enterprise Everywhere Campaign with Alesha Dixon
The South Yorkshire Prince's Trust Enterprise Team and myself are hosting a super friendly and (we hope) not-initimidating get together for women in business supported by the Prince's Trust.
Proud to be a Prince's Trust Young Ambassador

Two Years of BearHugs | Behind the Scenes
This morning thanks to Coutts and Prince's Trust I had the privilege of meeting Sir Ben Ainslie and founder of Trunki, Rob Law. It was incredible to hear both Sir Ben and Rob talk about their journeys to success. I was particularly inspired by the values, culture and approach to people at Trunki. As always, I was very proud to be a Princes Trust Young Ambassador and talk about my experiences of the Enterprise Programme which helped me to launch BearHugs in 2015.
Interview with Tom and Giovanna Fletcher
Two years ago today, BearHugs was officially launched as Prince's Trust business. Look back over the last two years with us....
Quoted in the Prince of Wales' Annual Review
One of my absolute highlights of the year so far has been getting to meet Tom and Gi Fletcher, who both do such great work with the Prince's Trust.
Ahead of the Prince's Trust awards, I sat down with them for a little chat, which you can see here:
Judging the Yorkshire Regional Final of the Mosaic Enterprise Challenge
I'm incredibly proud to represent The Prince's Trust as a Young Ambassador. The work they do to support young people is amazing and I'll be forever grateful for the help I've been able to access when starting BearHugs.
This year my quote was featured in the Prince of Wales' Annual Review.
Women, Chronic Illness and Enterprise: Why I'm Proud to Represent the Prince's Trust as a Young Ambassador | International Women's Day
On Wednesday 29th March, I was flattered to be asked to judge the Yorkshire Regional Final of the Mosaic Enterprise Challenge. I was so impressed by all of the teams and their pitches. The students' ideas were amazing and I loved the energy and enthusiasm that came across when they spoke about them. It was a really tough call but Team Elektrofit from Dixons Kings Academy came out as winners with their idea to simultaneously generate electricity for their community and promote physical activity in schools. I'm so excited for them that they now go on to the prestigious National Final in London.
BearHugs Founder, Faye, is a Finalist at the National Prince's Trust Celebrate Success Awards
On International Women's Day I thought there was no better time to talk about just how important it is that young women (and men) are being given Enterprise support and how proud I am to represent a charity that provides it.
Interview on BBC Radio Sheffield with Rony Robinson
I am very excited that, after winning the Enterprise Award at the Yorkshire and Humber Prince's Trust Awards in November, I have been chosen as a finalist for the Enterprise Award at the National Prince's Trust Celebrate Success Awards.
The awards ceremony will take place at the London Palladium on Wednesday 15th March.
Yorkshire and Humber Prince's Trust Enterprise Award Winner
My "My Life So Far" interview on BBC Radio Sheffield with Rony Robinson is now up on iPlayer!
I'm about 2 hours and 9 minutes in talking about BearHugs, Prince's Trust, University of Sheffield, Lyme Disease and Jared Carnie's book 'Waves' !
An Evening with Gordon Strachan: Representing The Prince's Trust as a Young Ambassador
I was absolutely blown away last night to receive the NatWest Enterprise Award at the Prince's Trust Celebrate Success Awards. What an incredible year 2016 is turning out to be!
Feature on The Prince's Trust Website
I was proud to represent Prince's Trust this evening as a Young Ambassador at the Vantage Motor Group Charity Dinner. The Prince's Trust has played a huge part in BearHugs becoming what it is now, so I'm always happy to give a little back by spreading the word of the incredible work they the Trust does. I was honoured to be asked to speak before Gordon Strachan and then to have the opportunity to chat with him over dinner.
Prince's Trust Celebrate Success Award Finalist
I'm so happy to see that my story has been featured by The Prince's Trust on their website. I got quite emotional reading this back- so much has changed for the better since I first started my business. I'm incredibly grateful for the support I've been offered, in particular for that from my ever-encouraging Prince's Trust mentor, Greg.
Prince's Trust 40th Anniversary Celebrations: #partofPT tour in Leeds
BearHugs is a finalist for the Enterprise Award at the 2016 Prince's Trust Celebrate Success Awards! The Prince's Trust helps to launch thousands of businesses every year so I'm humbled to have been selected for the Yorkshire and Humber shortlist. BearHugs probably wouldn't exist now without the support of the Prince's Trust Enterprise Programme (read a full account of my experience here) so it is really special to me to be put forward for this award.
"Career from an Idea" Event at Sheffield College
This year the Prince's Trust is celebrating it's 40th Anniversary. Having accessed their Enterprise Programme and received support to launch my business BearHugs, I was very excited to take part in the celebrations. I got involved by joining the #partofPT tour when it stopped in Leeds city centre on 20th April.
I felt very proud to represent the Prince's Trust and loved talking about my entirely positive experience with their programme. I took along lots of BearHugs freebies and it was a pleasure to hand them out to people dropping by the #partofPT airstream. I set up alongside fellow Enterprise Programme user, Natalia who runs Pura Panela. I counted myself very lucky to have access to plenty of samples of her delicious drinks Cafe Campesino, Gurapo and Canelazo throughout the day.
BearHugs was started with the help of the Prince's Trust Enterprise Programme.
The Prince's Trust helps 18 to 30-year-olds to turn big ideas into a business reality through training, mentoring support, funding and resources.
