A Proud Moment for BearHugs
We had a lovely little moment this week - BearHugs was featured in the local press after being shortlisted for the Sheffield Business Awards.
BearHugs started from a simple idea. It was about helping people stay connected and send care when they couldn’t be there in person. To now be recognised alongside so many other businesses in Sheffield feels really exciting.

The Sheffield Business Awards celebrate local businesses making a difference in their communities. Being shortlisted feels like a real nod to the heart behind what we do, sending comfort, kindness and a little bit of warmth through the post.
Looking Ahead to the Evening
Our Chief Sender of Hugs, Faye, and her ever-supportive partner Jared are really looking forward to the awards evening on 1st December.
It’s not just about the awards themselves. It’s about taking a moment to celebrate the journey so far, meeting other local businesses, and being part of something bigger within the Sheffield community.
Running a small business often means being caught up in the day-to-day. Packing orders, answering messages, and making sure every gift goes out with care can take up most of your focus.
Moments like this offer a chance to step back and reflect. It’s a reminder of how far things have come, and of all the people who have supported BearHugs along the way.
